ALIEV WANTS TO WIN THE LAURELS OF WAR, WHAT IF HE LOSES?

"The negotiation process has no alternatives yet, but we continue
to strengthen our military power, in order to secure 10-20 times
superiority over Armenia", with its personal style and also contents
made his recurrent announcement Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev. He
also mentioned, "Azerbaijan will never refrain from its national
interests. And the conflict will be settled as soon as Armenia
understands it." At a meeting with the people of a province in
Azerbaijan the president announced that they were still devoted to the
negotiating process for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict,
but "Armenia does not demonstrate frankness regarding the process on
Nagorno Karabakh".
The international societies have not answered Aliev's announcements
yet, while; in this case, Aliev speaks in the language of war.
Nevertheless, the Russian co-chairman of OSCE Yuri Merzliakov in his
interview to "Liberty" radio-station mentioned that they could not
officially announce about the meeting of the presidents of Armenia and
Azerbaijan in Sankt Peterburg, in June. What about the announcements
of Azerbaijan, Merzliakov mentioned, "both sides speak about their
advantages, but keep silence of other facts".
At present, the presidents don't speak of signing any document,
but an agreement about the principles of the settlement.
