/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Member-states of the Collective Security Treaty
Organization (CSTO) are concerned over the enlargement of NATO military
infrastructure immediately near the borders of the organization,
CSTO Sec. Gen. Nikolay Bordyuzha stated during the first media forum
entitled "The Role and Place of Media in Counteraction of Threats of
    XXI Century".

He said the growing activity of NATO, the European Union and
third countries does not contribute to stability in the post-soviet
territories. "In fact, the North Atlantic alliance carries out a policy
line of introducing and strengthening the military-political presence
of NATO or its separate member-states, including the United States
in the Caucasus and the Central Asia," the Sec. Gen. underscored.

Nikolai Bordyuzha also indicated that the matter is about efforts to
create competitive to CSTO regional structures aimed at "providing
security and the fight against terrorism", RIA "Novosti" reports.

Armenia, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia, Tajikistan and
    Uzbekistan are CSTO member-states.
