DIRECTOR OF CHARENTS LITERATURE AND ART MUSEUM REFUSES DEPUTY'S MANDATE

YEREVAN, MAY 23, NOYAN TAPAN. Henrik Bakhchinian, the Director of the
Charents Literature and Art Museum, occupying the 6th horizontal in
the electoral list of the Zharangutiun (Heritage) party refused the
deputy's mandate. Hamlet Abrahamian, the Secretary of the Central
Electoral Commission informed the Noyan Tapan correspondent about it
on May 23. He mentioned that H. Bakhchinian's application concerning
refusing the mandate is still the only one that the CEC got.
According to the Electoral Code, in a similar case the mandate is
given to the next candidate of the electoral list of the party.
To recap, according to the proportional electoral system, seven
mandates will be given to Zharangutiun as a result of the parliamentary
elections.
