ANTELIAS, MAY 24, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Carlos Ocampo
(Ausralia) and Steve Weaver (United States of America), two
responsibles for the World Church Service charity organization visited
the Cathedral of the Great House of Cilicia on May 21. Bishop Narek
Aleemezian, the Interchurch Relations Manager of the Catholicosate
received them.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Catholicosate of the Great House of
Cilicia, the guests arrived in Lebanon to participate in the meeting
of the organizations financing programs of the Church Council of
Middle East.
Bishop Narek, after touching upon the social-political issues in
which Middle East and especially Lebanon are interested, presented
the interchurch ad interreligious activity of His Holiness Aram I
Patriarch, then led them towards the Mother Cathedral, monument-chapel
to the April martyrs, various departments of the Catholicosate and
Cilicia museum.
