KICKBOXER FROM KAPAN ACHIEVES WORLD CHAMPION'S TITLE

Karen Grigoryan of Kapan achieved the champion's title at the
World Kickboxing Championship held in the Greek city of Saloniki May
15-21. Viktor Khachatryan got a silver medal because of leg injury. RA
Honored Coach Arayik Sargsyan told Armenpress that all in all the
Armenian 20-member team achieved 6 medals.
The participation of the sportsmen from Kapan was sponsored by "Dino
Gold Mining Company," the Executive Director of which promised to
continue supporting the team of Kapan.
Deputy Marzpet of Syunik Ara Dolunts also congratulated the sportsmen.
