AGENDA OF AZERBAIJAN SPEAKER'S VISIT TO ST PETERSBURG ANNOUNCED

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / An Azerbaijani delegation
headed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Oktay Asadov, will visit St
Petersburg between 30 May and 1 June, the Parliament's Press Secretary,
Akif Nasirov, said on 29 May.
According to him, the 28th plenary meeting of CIS Parliamentary
Assembly will take place in St Petersburg and the Azerbaijani
delegation will attend the meeting. Nasirov said that while at the
session, Asadov will hold a number of meetings, including one with
the Chairman of PACE, Rene Van der Lenden.
Nasirov did not exclude the possibility of a meeting between the
chairmen of the Azerbaijani and Armenian parliaments.
During the visit, Asadov will be accompanied by the Permanent
Parliamentary Commission on Regional Affairs, Arif Tafizade, Chairman
of Legal Policy Commission, Ali Huseynov, parliamentarians Rafael
Huseynov, Safa Mitzayev and others.
