CONSTITUTIONAL COURT TO START ON JUNE 1 EXAMINATION OF 4 APPLICATIONS APPEALING RESULTS OF NA ELECTIONS BY PROPORTIONAL ELECTORAL SYSTEM

YEREVAN, MAY 29, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Examination of 4
applications appealing results of the NA elections by the proportional
electoral system will start at the RA Constitutional Court on June
1. RA CC Press Secretary Hovhannes Papikian informed the Noyan Tapan
correspondent about it. To recap, the Impeachment alliance, Orinats
Yerkir (Country of Law), Nor Zhamanakner (New Times) and Hanrapetutiun
(Republic) parties addressed to the Constitutional Court. And the
Constitutional Court made a decision at its working sitting to accept
the cases on the mentioned applications for examination.
The issue of accepting for examination the applications of candidates
by the majoritarian electoral system Heghine Bisharian from electoral
district No11, Hovhannes Margarian from electoral district No33 and
Mushegh Saghatelian from electoral district No36 will be decided on
May 29.
