ETCHMIADZIN, MAY 30, NOYAN TAPAN. Karekin II Catholicos of All
Armenians received on May 30 at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
Arthur Abraham, the boxing world champion of middle weight category
by IBF version.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Information Services of the Mother
See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Patriarch expressed happiness
that the world-famous sportsman visits the Mother See after the
recent victory. His Holiness expressed his blessing and appreciation
to the boxer of the Armenian origin for the courage, strong will and
decisiveness in striving for victory.
"You glorify our people's name and assist the good reputation of our
country as well," said His Holiness in his speech, wishing that the
God always protects the boxer for fixing new and new victories.
