ON OCTOBER 30TH THE GOVERNMENT MADE ALTERATIONS

Today the Government made alterations in the decision about
establishing the value of a year of main pensions and insurance
length of service - the base was established on which from a new year
pensions would be calculated. The size of pensions from January 1st
would compile 6800 drams instead of 4250 drams, the sum of insurance
length of service - 395 drams instead of 230 drams. Pension of
servicemen would be 5 thousand drams instead of 3 thousand drams. By
another decision, for children without parental care the size of
onemonth financial aid would be 27200 drams instead of 17 thousand
drams. Alterations were made in the decision about state benefits.
The Government today approved a number of bills. The drafts "About
Audit Chamber", about making alterations in "About procurator's
office" law, "About washing money and struggle against terrorism"
would be represented to the trial of National Assembly. Alterations
were made in a number of decisions adopted formerly. The Prime
Minister assigned tax bodies to prepare another draft, by which
subjects of management wouldn't incur a loss in case of use of the
first decision. Today Ara Haroutyunian informed the members of the
Government, that henceforth the procedure of convening Government's
sessions would be changed. Working conferences wouldn't forego the
sessions. All the questions of the agenda would be discussed during
the session. According to the Prime Minister, executive work should
