LITHUANIA PREPARED TO ASSIST ARMENIA IN EUROINTEGRATION PROCESS WITH ITS EXPERIENCE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. Issues related to Armenian-Lithuanian
cooperation in international structures, as well as regional problems
were discussed at the November 8 meeting of the Armenian president
Robert Kocharian and the Lithuanian foreign minister Petras Vaitiekunas
who is on a visit to Armenia, NT was informed by the RA president's
press service.
R. Kocharian expressed satisfaction at the development of bilateral
relations. According to him, Armenia's inclusion in the European
Neighborhood Policy opens a new field of cooperation with Lithuania. P.
Vaitiekunas in his turn said that Armenia's Eurointegration path can
be clearly seen, and Lithuania is prepared to assist Armenia with
its experience gained while proceeding along the same difficult path.
