JACQUE HAGOPIAN TRIBUTE EVENING
On Wednesday, November 21, 2007, a special evening of tribute to poet
Jacque Hagopian took place at the Kalaydjian Hall of the Western
Diocese. The Primate, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and the
Vicar General of the Western Diocese, the Very Rev. Fr. Dajad
Dz. V. Yardemian, were present at the event.

PRIMATE ATTENDS IRAQI ARMENIAN SCHOOLS COMMITTEE MEETING
On Wednesday, November 21, 2007, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan
Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church
participated in the Iraqi Armenian Schools Committee Meeting, where
His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian lauded their efforts and
dedication.

PRIMATE AT ARMENIA FUND TELETHON VILLAGE IN ARTSAKH TO BE RESTORED BY
WESTERN DIOCESE
The wonderful Thanksgiving Day tradition of the Armenia Fund Telethon,
once again, on Wednesday, November 22, 2007, united all Armenians
around the world to help Armenia and Artsakh. More than fifteen
million dollars was pledged during the live televised telethon.
