ANTI-CHRISTIAN AND ULTRANATIONALIST MOOD GAINS FORCE IN TURKEY

at the 2007 parliamentary elections," specialist in Turkic philology,
prof. Ruben Safrastyan said.
He noted that formation of a union of Turkic states similar
to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is
rather problematic. "There are joint economic projects like
Kars-Akhalkalaki-Baku and some energy projects but it's not enough,"
Safrastyan said.
