The monitoring of Business Software Alliance international company
shows that piracy makes up 95 percent in Armenia. This was said during
a meeting with reporters by Narina Lazarian, company representative
in Armenia. She said since piracy is so widespread in Armenia, there
is a need that the company has a representation in Armenia.
In Lazarian's words, Business Software Alliance deals with the
protection of author's rights of the software in Armenia. "Our company
will protect all those organizations with software author's rights
that will apply to us," Lazarian said.
In her words, in case of need they may apply to courts. Business
Software Alliance has been established and functions in Armenia since
this year.
