"From water to market" element of Millennium Challenges Foundation
Armenia Program envisages to transfer new knowledge and technologies
to agricultural entities. The project will also provide credits to
the beneficiaries with the aim to enlarge the production and apply
effective technologies. The credit element also aims to raise the
affordability of long-term credits in order to develop agriculture
and agricultural areas. The credit program will be implemented through
banks and credit organization with the total sum of $8.5 million. From
October, 2007 to September 2008 $3.5 million will be provided. From
2008-2009 the sum will total another $3.5 million and from 2009-2010
it will be $1.5 million.
