POLICE JUSTIFIES ARAM KARAPETYAN REFUSAL

The police department of visa and passport refused to give Aram
Karapetyan, the leader of "New Times" party, the document that the
last 10 years he lived in RA.
According to the press service of the police station, the refusal is
justified by 65 and 72 articles in "Election Code".
By those articles the demands of presidential candidates are defined
- "According to 50 article of RA Constitution, anybody who is 35
years old, during last 10 years is RA citizen, and during the last
10 years lived in RA, and has the right to elect, can be elected as
RA president."
Note that Aram Karapetyan has already announced that the police
activities are illegal, and he will apply to CEC presenting the
documents and applying as a candidate.
