LEVON TER-PETROSIAN MEETS WITH GERMAN HIGH-RANKING DIPLOMAT

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. Levon Ter-Petrosian, the first
President of the Republic of Armenia, had a meeting with Ambassador
Dr. Hans-Dieter Lucas, the Special representative of the Eastern
Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Mrs. Andrea Viktorin, the
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federation of
Germany to the Republic of Armenia, on November 27.
According to the information provided by the Civil Initiative Office
for Nomination of Levon Ter-Petrosian, Alexander Arzumanian as well,
the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia in 1996-98, took part
in the meeting, which took place in the private residence of the
Ambassador of Germany to the Republic of Armenia. A wide range of
issues concerning the interpolitical situation created in Armenia,
the 2008 presidential elections, the cooperation perspectives of the
countries of the South Caucasus, as well as the South Caucasus-European
Union relations has been discussed.
