M.HARUTUNYAN: "ABIEV ANNOUNCEMENT TOO STRICT"

Today the minister of defense, Michael Harutunyan and his delegation
left for Astana, Kazakhstan, to participate in 53rd session of CIS
countries protection meeting. After the session the defense ministers
of Armenia and Azerbaijan had a conflict in distance.
After the meeting Safar Abiev, the defense minster of Azerbaijan
announced in a press conference that the possibility of the war between
Armenia and Azerbaijan is of 100%, he added that the territories
of Azerbaijan are still occupied by Armenia, thus the percentage of
war exists.
M. Harutunyan announced that the speech of his Azerbaijan colleague is
too strict, and Armenia sees the salvation of NK problem in peaceful
conditions.
"When the two presidents of our countries meet, they do not announce
such strict ideas. This is out of the minister's rights, as our
leaders negotiate to salve the problem without any war," said the
defense minister.
