VAHAN HOVHANNISYAN OFFERS WITH TURKEY

"It is about our security, if Turkey admits Armenian Genocide,"
said Vahan Hovhannisyan, the Parliament spokesman, during a meeting
held between "Ria Novosti" and "Novosti Armenia" press centers. The
meeting was about Armenian - Turkish relations, and the Parliament
spokesman said that only after Turkey admits our Genocide and gives
security guarantees, Armenia can discuss other problems.
Vahan Hovhannisyan said that small nations also must taken into
account, especially he mentioned about Armenian Diaspora, that it
should not be ignored, and finally Armenian Genocide will be admitted
by all countries, as well as by the USA. To justify his opinion,
he said that though Turkey practiced some blackmail France admitted
the Armenian Genocide. The same was with Switzerland, as there a law
passed to punish those who refuse the Genocide.
He also added that Turkey carried out genocide not only in 1915,
but also in 1920, when they divided Armenia into some parts, and the
Western parts joint Turkey, and the eastern parts - Azerbaijan. Note
that those actions were brought into life with Bolshevik Russia. The
spokesman compared it with Ribentrop - Molotov contract which divided
Europe, but in the latter case the sinners were punished but in our
case - no.
