BUNDESTAG DELEGATION TO VISIT ARMENIA

October 17-21 the German-South Caucasian Parliamentary Group of the
Bundestag will arrive in Armenia, German Ambassador Extraordinary and
Parliamentary to Armenia Andrea Viktorin told ArmInfo correspondent.
In her words, after the parliamentary elections of 2005 this is the
first visit of the parliamentary group formed in 2006. The delegation
is headed by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group, Bundestag
member Stefan Reichen. Members of the delegation will meet with
representatives of the National Assembly, Government and civil society.
"The visit of the Parliamentary Group is cognitive. The German
Deputies are interested in both the current political situation in
Armenia and the culture and people," the German Ambassador noted.
