THE PASSAGE WILL BE ORGANIZED BY THE ARMENIAN COOPERATION CENTRE OF GEORGIA IN FRONT OF THE US EMBASSY IN GEORGIA

    Karabakh Open
    Oct 9 2007

On 10th of October, 2007, at 1:00 pm, a peace action to support the
passage of Armenian Genocide Resolution (H.Res.106 & S.Res.106) will
be organized by the Armenian Cooperation Centre of Georgia in front
of the US Embassy in Georgia (11 G. Balanchivadze St.).

The U.S. House Foreign Relations Committee will hold a vote on the
Armenian Genocide Resolution October 10. There will be the descendants
of the victims of the Armenian Genocide among the participants of
the action. Armenians all over the world welcome the will of the
US congressmen to recognize the fact of the Armenian Genocide and
their devotion to the liberal and democratic values, so actively
propagated by the United States worldwide. The non-recognition and
non-condemnation of the Genocide perpetrators subsequently caused other
monstrous crimes against humanity, including the Jewish Holocaust,
the Rwanda Genocide, the Genocide in Darfur, etc.

In 1920, the United States, being one of the world's superpowers
on behalf of 28-th president Woodrow Wilson, assumed the greater
responsibility before Armenian people, having acted as the guarantor
of its rights restoration. The Armenian people have been waiting
for the decision to be admitted for 87 years, and now, the USA is as
close to its carrying out as never before.

We believe in justice and we can say with confidence that the
progressive mankind supports restoration of justice
