FRENCH ARMENIAN BENEFACTOR KARPIS NIKOGHOSIAN GIVEN GRATITUDE MEDAL

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The necessity to deepen
cooperation between Artsakh and the Diaspora and raising it to a new
level was mutually considered as important at the October 10 meeting
of NKR President Bako Sahakian and a French Armenian benefactor, the
Chairman of the Union of Assistance to Karabakh, Karpis Nikoghosian.
The interlocutors touched upon programs being implemented in Nagorno
Karabakh with benefactors' efforts, in particular, the process of
construction of a modern closed stadium for the secondary school of
the village of Sekher, Martuni region.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the General Information Department
under the NKR President, B. Sahakian gave Gratitude medal to Karpis
Nikoghosian. It has been given to the French Armenian benefactor for
his great contribution in the issue of restoration and development
of country's economic, cultural, social sphere, his considerable
charity activity.
