"I DID NOT IMAGINE THAT THE USA WAS SO WEAK"

"Tears appeared in my eyes when I heard that the Resolution was
approved. I congratulate all of us in this regard", announced Ruben
Sahakyan, President of the Chamber of Advocates who followed the live
broadcast of the discussions of 106 Resolution by the U.S. House
Foreign Affairs Committee. However happy Mr Sahakyan was with this
fact, he noticed something disgusting in this discussion. "It was
disgusting that the congressmen confirmed the fact of genocide but
they could not adopt it. I was amazed how well the congressmen were
prepared, that they had collected valuable materials and had studied
archives in Germany and in other countries. At the same time they state
that the US troops were located in Turkey and in Israel, Afghanistan
and Iraq, which are in good relations with Turkey. This means that
the congressmen admitted that Turkey may bring the US to its knees,
if the Resolution on the Armenian genocide was adopted. I did not
imagine that the US was so weak".

"The Resolution was approved due to the efforts of the Armenian
lobby. The US is the country where a wife and a husband will give
evidences against each other for the sake of justice. I would like our
country to approach to that level. Whoever comes to power in the RA,
nothing will change, until we change ourselves.

The 106 Resolution was approved by the US Congress since the number
of honest people prevail in the States", pointed out Ruben Sahakyan.
