Town cuts ties with ADL's antibias group

The Lexington Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to sever ties with
the town's No Place for Hate program, joining other municipalities,
including Belmont, Newton, and Watertown. The board also voted to
create a committee to plan for a new antihate committee, board
chairwoman Jeanne K. Krieger said. The call for the town to rescind
its formal relationship with the Anti-Defamation League-sponsored
program was triggered by the ADL's position on the Armenian genocide.
