"FRUITFUL ARMENIA" INITIATIVE ORGANIZES YEREVAN CONFERENCE ON DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF ARMENIAN AGRICULTURE

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, NOYAN TAPAN. The initiative "Fruitful Armenia" has
organized the conference "Paths of Food. Let's Identify the Potential
for Armenia's Development" in Yerevan on October 17-19. The head of
the initiative Anna Kristina Shirinian said at the October 17 press
conference that during the conference, experts from the US, France,
the Netherlands and several other countries will have the opportunity
to familiarize themselves with the problems and development prospects
of Armenia's agricultural sector. In her words, "Fruitful Armenia"
aims to promote the development of the Armenian agricultural produce
and food processing market and the country's rural communities.
According to A. K. Shirinian, the initiative has worked out the draft
law on organic agriculture as a result of discussions held at various
conferences in the past two years.
