U.S. AND IRAQ NOT LIKELY TO TAKE MEASURE ON KURDISH ISSUE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Iraqis and Americans had better prevent attacks of
Kurdish rebels on the Turkish territory, thus making Turkey's incursion
into northern Iraq unnecessary, Tagesspiegel German newspaper reports.

"However, the U.S. and Iraq seem unlikely to take action. Western
influence on Turkey is rather limited.

It especially refers to Americans in Iraq. The U.S. Ambassador in
Ankara was recently asked how the United States would react to armed
raids of rebels settled on the territory of a neighbor state. The
diplomat refrained from comments," he said, Deutsche Welle reports
