ADFD to boost cooperation with Armenia, Benin WAM WAM
Abu Dhabi, Oct. 25th, 2007 (WAM) - Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Director
General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, received here today
Vahagan Melikian, Ambassador of Armenia, and discussed with him ways
to enhance cooperation..
Also discussed were the Fund's development programmes in Armenia. .
ADFD has recently approved financing a project to build a tunnel in
Armenia..
The project aims at improving Armenia's economic situation by raising
water levels of Lake Sevan, the country's largest lake and a vital
source for drinking and irrigation water and fish stocks..
Al Mazrouei later met with Isa Musa Tore, Ambassador of Benin, and
discussed with him ways to enhance ties..
The Ambassador praised ADFD's initiatives to support economic
development in his country..
