THE PROBLEM WILL GET SOLUTION BY CONSTRUCTING A NEW WATER-PIPE

The water-pipe netting of Hadrut was fitted in 1976. For water
supply, at 3 km distance from the district centre 4 artesian wells
were dug, pumping station was built, stationary strong pumps were
mounted. For evading difficulties connected with exploitation
of pumps "Parzaget-Hadrut" water-pipe of 5 km was built. In the
years of Artsakh war either the pumping station or the artesian
wells went out of order. The city began to get water only from the
"Parzaget" water-pipe, which was not suited for drinking. With the
help of "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund in 1995 the second water-pipe
"Parzaget-Hadrut" was placed. But the problem of drinking water was
not solved again. The most probable version is the construction of
"Ardjin aghbur" water-pipe, which is at 22 km distance from the
district centres. By the program of "Rebirth of Artsakh" "Hayastan"
All-Armenian Fund assigned the great part of the sums collected in 2006
during the marathon to the construsction of "Ardjin aghbur-Hadrut"
water-pipe. In announced competition "Viraj" was the winner, the
head of which is V. Ataian. The building of the water-pipe has been
foreseen to end in 2008, February. With all that, the builders of
"Viraj" do everything to satisfy high level of the building and to
put it into operation in time.
