IAN PORTERFIELD PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY

Yesterday late in the evening the coach of the Armenian national
team died in London at the age of 61. He suffered from cancer and had
undergone a few operations but could not get over the decease. Today
the Armenian team plays with Malta. Our players will be wearing
mourning bands on their arms.
With Porterfield the Armenian team had considerable progress, several
victories, he inspired dignity in both players and fans.
