Karabakh should be liberated. The conflict should be solved either
through peace or war. I welcome intellectuals' visit to Nagorno
Karabakh.
We let Armenians know that we will return to our homeland by visiting
Karabakh. I want people to return to their native lands in any way",
Sheikh of all Caucasus Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh said, APA reports.
He said that he can appeal to Catholicos of all Armenia Karegin II
on releasing three Armenian-captured soldiers, but he does not want
to do it, because it is hard for him to speak to Karegin II every time.
"It is hard for me. But to appeal as a religious figure is my
duty. Religious figures should assist in this work. If parents of
those people appeal to me, I will deal with this issue," he said.
Sheikh said that Caucasian Muslims Office has been working on the
release of Armenian-captured people since 1990, and mentioned that
special state committee was established regarding it later on.
"We were releasing the captured people with the help of money that
time. But some of the captured people were released on my appeal,"
he said.
