    RELICS IN PRIME MINISTER'S WORDS

The public memorized Serge Sargsyan's recent interview on TV for the
statement on the heaven and hell. The prime minister thereby reminded
or notified the businessmen that "having much money does not mean
they will go to heaven and not to hell."

On September 17 the reporters asked Galust Sahakyan hosted at the
Friday Club for a news conference whether our members of parliament,
oligarchs will be going to heaven or hell and where Serge Sargsyan
will be going. With everyone around laughing, Galust Sahakyan listened
to the question seriously, but the answer began humorously: "I will
answer humorously. The prime minister has nowhere to go, he decides
who goes to heaven and who goes to hell," Galust Sahakyan says.

Then he went on seriously. "Now I will be more serious. It was not
just a statement. I hope it will be so. We already, the government,
has estimated the GDP, and tax collections. Hence, it is one of the
important programs today, of the government, especially of the prime
minister. We proceed from this to say that the budget will total 2.5
billion, we proceed from this to say, as he described, that we will
have better Armenia. Without struggling, without attaining, it will
be impossible. I want to say that these are not void words meant to
mislead the society. Today these steps are made, and the society
will soon feel the results," Galust Sahakyan says, stating that a
businessman should pay taxes to feel like a partner of the government.

"This is a political credo, and this strategy will produce results
which will be tangible," Galust Sahakyan says.

He disagreed that the prime minister's interview marked a program
but he said it contained relics marking future developments.
