Garegin II, the Primate of the Anglican Church, The Archbishop of
Canterbury Rowan Williams has arrived in Armenia, the press office
    of Holy Echmiadzin told PanARMENIAN.Net.

"This visit will allow to offer up a prayer, speculate on cooperation,
love and union of Christian churches.

It will cement friendly ties between our churches," the Catholicos
    said.

"Our churches have rich spiritual and intellectual heritage. Today
they withstand numerous challenges. We face cultural, social, economic
and political problems which need a joint solution," His Holiness
    Garegin II said.

For his part, The Archbishop of Canterbury said, "Our churches enjoy
old ties." He reminded that Randell Davidson offered help to Armenian
Genocide survivors almost 100 years ago.
