CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD CONNECTING NINOTSMINDA REGION TO TBILISI TO BE COMPLETED BY 2011

Tbilisi. September 25 (Prime-News) - The construction of the road
Tsalka-Ninotsminda- Tbilisi envisaged by "Millennium" program will
be completed by 2011.
Suren Morosian, Governor of Ninotsminda region, stated that the German
investors plan to open the national park in Ninotsminda.
According to the statement of the Governor of Ninotsminda region,
the milk-processing factory has been operating in Ninotsminda,
illumination system has been installed and the problem related to
the gasification of the region will be settled soon.
"GEL 35 000 has been allocated for canalization and water distribution
system, #1 and #3 public Schools in Ninotsminda region have been
repaired," admitted Suren Morosian.
The Governor of Ninotsminda region had also touched the main problem of
the region related to the language barrier and noted that the teaching
of Georgian language in Armenian schools located in Ninotsminda took
a massive character.
"One of the greatest problems of the region is the ignorance of the
state language," declared Suren Morosian.
The aforementioned meeting was held within the framework of the
program on "Negotiation of Existing Information Vacuum in Relation to
Samtskhe-Javakheti Region" for Georgian, Armenian and Azeri journalists
implemented by NGO "Institute for War and Peace Reporting" and OSCE
mission to Georgia.
Three Azeri, two Armenian and six Georgian journalists participated
in five-day program.
The participants of the program held meetings with representatives
of NGO and governmental forces.
