TEN THOUSAND SIGNATURES AGAINST ARMENTEL

For approximately two months a signing campaign against the policies
of Armentel has been underway in Yerevan. Citizens are demanding
that in the case they don't have time on their accounts that their
codes not be completely disconnected. When completely disconnected
from their service, they are unable to call in the case of emergency,
such as an accident.
They are even unable to make a call to the service.
Thus, some 10 thousand signatures have already been collected and
delivered to representatives of Armentel, in spite of the fact that
those presenting the letter at Armentel's central office were forced
to wait almost indefinitely.
Haik Fahramazyan, who heads the relevant department, received the
group of protesters. He promised to answer the protest/proposal within
a week.
