RA FOREIGN MINISTER: REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA CONSISTENT IN FIGHTING TERRORISM

Vartan Oskanian, RA Foreign Minister, met with Sergey Karev,
the Officer-in-Charge of the Security Council Counter-Terrorism
Committee's Executive Directorate, on September 24. The Press and
Information Department of Ra Foreign Ministry informed about this.
The CTED head highly estimated Armenia's endeavors for combating
terrorism and said Armenia is among the states which systematically
submit reports in compliance with UN Security Council resolution on
combating terrorism.
In his turn, RA Foreign Minister stated that Armenia is consistent in
struggle against terrorism and fulfills the commitments undertaken
to the international community. "Armenia ratified 12 out of 13 UN
Conventions including the one against nuclear terrorism, which was
signed by the Prime Minister.
