DEVOURMENT OF BANKS ON ARMENIAN MARKET

Financial circles inform that the "Biblos Bank" of Lebanon is
negotiating about purchasing the "International Trade Bank (ITB)",
Armenia. According to the information received, the negotiations are
in the final phase.
To be reminded, another Armenian bank, Armimpexbank", was recently
handed to a new owner. The Russian "Troyka Dialog" company owned by
Ruben Vardanian, had bought it from a British-Armenian entrepreneur
Vache Manoukian. At present it is uncertain, whether "Credit Bank",
another major bank from Lebanon, is to purchase some Armenian bank
or open in Armenia a representation of its own.
