TIGRAN SARGSIAN APPOINTED AS RA PM

YEREVAN, 10.04.08. DE FACTO. On April 9 the President of the Republic
of Armenia Serzh Sargsian signed a decree, according to which Tigran
Sargsian was appointed the RA PM, the Armenian President's Press
Office reports.
Tigran Sargsian was born in Vanadzor in 1960. He graduated from
the Yerevan Institute of People's Economy, then the N.A.Voznesensky
Leningrad Financial and Economic Institute and post-graduate course
at the same Institute. Tigran Torosian has a scientific degree of
Candidate of Economic Sciences. He heads the RA Central Bank since
1998. Tigran Sargsian is married, he has 2 children.
