TRCHKAN ACTION GROUP DEMANDS THAT POLICE PUNISH THOSE GUILTY OF DESTROYING SYMPHONY OF STONES IN GARNI

The Trchkan action group has sent a letter to the police where it
demands punishing those guilty of destroying the Symphony of the
Stones, a unique natural monument in Garni.
Nov 29 the greens spread a video picturing destroyed parts of the
monument.
The police said later that they had found people who had used stones
from the monument for building a fence, but the stones had split off
the rock in a natural way.
Trchkan insists that the monument is being destroyed by human hands,
and its stones are being used in other construction projects as well.
So, the greens urge the police to investigate the case more closely,
to punish those guilty and to save the monument from full destruction.
