St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church and the Armenian
Relief Society of Granite City will hold a Walkathon to benefit Syrian
Armenian relief efforts. The walkathon will take place Sept. 29, 10
a.m.-noon at the church at 1014 W. Pontoon Road, Granite City. Funds
will go to humanitarian efforts focused on Syrian Armenians impacted
by the conflict in Syria. Registration at 10 a.m. Those who wish to
donate may also send donations to the church at 1014 W. Pontoon Road,
