    YEREVAN, OCTOBER 15, ARMENPRESS: President of the Republic of Armenia
    Serzh Sargsyan will participate in the Summit of European People's
    Party held in Bucharest, Romania, on October 17, 18. As reports
    Armenpress referring to EPP official web site Serzh Sargsyan's speech
    is included in the agenda of October 17.

    In Bucharest, the EPP congress will be hosted by Romanian President
    Traian BÄ?sescu, who has last week returned to office following an
    attempt of the ruling coalition led by Ponta to oust him from power.
    Prime Ministers and President of different countries are going to
    participate in the Summit. EPP summit will be attended by members of
    the opposition party leaders from a number of countries. EPP is the
    largest and most influential political party in Europe. Founded in
    1976, the EPP strives for a democratic, transparent and efficient
    Europe that is close to its citizens. EPP wants a prosperous Europe
    through the promotion of a free market economy with a social
    consciousness. EPP is the largest political organisation of Europe
    with 73 member-parties from 40 countries, 23 heads of state and
    government (16 EU and 7 non-EU), 13 European Commissioners (including
    the President), and the largest Group in the European Parliament with
    271 members.
