ARMTECH-2009 IT CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN USA

The ArmTech-2009 Congress is to be held at the Fairmont hotel, San
Jose, California, USA.
At a meeting in the RA Embassy in Armenia, Rich Goldmance, Vice-
President of Corporate Marketing and Strategic Alliances for Synopsys
and CEO of Synopsys Armenia, reported that the congress will be held
under the auspices of RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, with the
participation of the world's leading IT experts, U.S. Congressmen,
and a representative Armenian delegation. The conference is supposed to
"build a bridge" between Armenia the Silicon Valley, Goldman said.
He told the guests about the company's work in Armenia. Goldman
pointed out Armenia's most serious potential in the field of
microelectronics. He reported that 300 IT companies are operating in
Armenia now. Synopsys Armenia has employed 400 engineers, and Armenia's
leading technical higher schools supply specialists to the company.
