PanARMENIAN.Net - A top Iranian oil industry official said the
necessary infrastructure for exporting jet fuel is ready and the first
consignment of Iran-made fuel will soon be sent to foreign customers.

"The first phase of jet fuel exports will be via Bandar Abbas refinery
and export docks," Jalil Salari, the Managing Director of the National
Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), was quoted
as saying by Mehr News Agency.

He said that the completed pipeline connects Bandar Abbas oil storage
areas to loading facilities at the Foulad dock and is currently
undergoing final cleaning and testing operations.

Salari added that exporting jet fuel needs special infrastructure
because it should be produced under special conditions free from
    any contamination,.

The NIORDC director said neighboring countries, Central Asia and East
Asia are the most important markets for Iran's jet fuel, adding that
international demand for jet fuel was high.

According to Press TV, a total daily amount of 3 million liters of
jet fuel is being currently supplied to domestic and foreign airlines
in about 50 airplane fueling centers in Iran.
