    NO EVIDENCE ON MILITARY NATURE OF IRAN'S NUCLEAR PROGRAM: RIYABKOV

    Istanbul, April 13, IRNA - Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei
    Riyabkov said that he does not have access to compelling documents
    indicating military nature of Iran's nuclear program.

    Riyabkov, also Russia's envoy to the Group 5+1 (five permanent members
    of the UN Security Council plus Germany) talks made the remarks to
    IRNA's correspondent in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Friday before
    meeting with deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security
    Council Ali Baqeri.

    "According to information that I currently have, it is out of question
    now to conclude that Iran's nuclear program is fully peaceful, but
    it is completely different from saying that such activities have
    military dimensions," he added.

    Asked about Russia's stance vis-a-vis the sanctions imposed by the
    European Union and the US on Iran, Riyabkov noted that Russia is in
    principle against any sanctions and it considers them as contrary to
    all international norms.

    "Such trend does not respect the ideas of other nations and if
    it prevails it will it will ignore the legitimate right of other
    countries and companies that want to work with their Iranian partners
