YEREVAN. - As one of the news agencies reported a few minutes ago,
Armenian former FM Vardan Oskanyan posted on his Facebook page opinion
about the balloon blast in Yerevan downtown during the rally organized
    by the ruling party.

"I am shocked from the incident in the Republican square. According
to news, more than 30 people, mainly children and youth got burns. I
am more shocked that after the incident the leader of the country
continued to present his party's program. I am shocked that this was
followed by a concert. I am shocked that in such critical situation
the authorities can be so inadequate," Vardan Oskanyan posted.

Republican Party member, Armenia's Minister of Education and Science
    Armen Ashotyan posted a reply.

"I am at Erebouni Hospital. I could expect many immoralities from
Vardan Oskanyan but gaining points from such a tragic incident is
    horrific," Armen Ashotyan answered.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, an alarm was received
that an incident occurred during the rally of the Republican Party
of Armenia (RPA) in the Republican Square at 7.37 p.m. on Friday. Gas
balloons exploded, 144 casualties are reported.
