EVENT DEDICATED TO THE FIRST REPUBLIC DAY OF ARMENIA WAS ORGANIZED IN CANADA

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS: In the Senate of Canada was organized a
reception dedicated to the 94th of First Republic Armenia on May 28
on the initiative Armenian Embassy to Canada and Armenian-Canadian
friendship group of Canadian Parliament. Armenpress was informed
from Media, information and public relations department of Foreign
affairs ministry of Armenia that in the opening speech ambassador
Yeganyan mentioned that 94 years ago Armenian proved to the world
that they were able not only to survive but also to win and to find
their own statehood. At the festive event were present many members of
Canadian Government and Parliament, ambassadors accredited in Canada,
representatives of Armenian community.
