West Island Music School LAMBDA's students win a number of music
competitions within the last 2 weeks in June 2012.

Since the founding of Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts, a number
of outstanding young musicians including concert pianists and classical
singers have emerged from the fast tracking program of this prestigious
private musical institution of the West Island.

In June 2012, prodigy piano students of Lambda School of Music and Fine
Arts once again won first prizes in a number of music competitions,
including the QMTA (Quebec Music Teacher's Association Competition)
and the Music Competition organized by the Armenian Embassy.

Winners include Sarah Oulousian and Emily Oulousian (winner of the duet
junior ensemble), Daniel Luo (First Prize for QMTA 13 years and under),
Gina Chou (First Prize QMTA 15 years and under). Students performed
at the QMTA Winners' Gala concert and then Oulousian sisters' duo
brought the house down with applause. Stephanie Benohanian (Flute
student) was awarded the most talented award by the Armenian Embassy.
