    AZERBAIJANI CAPTIVE IN ARMENIA CONVEYED A MESSAGE TO HIS FAMILY

    YEREVAN, AUGUST 1, ARMENPRESS: Red Cross International Committee
    paid a visit to Azerbaijani captive Firuz Farazov on July 31. Red
    Cross International Committee coverage department employee Hasmik
    Galstayn told Armenpress, '~R The information of the physical state
    of the captive is confidential. An exchange of messages took place
    in the course of the held visit: serviceman Firuz Farazov received
    message from his family members and conveyed that of him'~R Galstyan
    came forth with the speech.

    As Armenpress reported earlier, a citizen of the Azerbaijani Republic,
    serviceman Firuz Farazov crossing the state border of the Republic
    of Armenia in the north- eastern part of Armenian -Azerbaijani border
    surrendered to Armenian peacekeepers on July 26, 16: 00 pm.

    By official data there is five- member- hostage family in Azerbaijan,
    composing Yeghishe, Ruzanna, Alfred, Gayane and Petros Gevorgyan. The
    family crossed the border in Yeraskhavan part in 2010, January 10.

    During 2011 from Armenian captives kept in Azerbaijan Artur Badalyan
    has been returned, besides three Armenian captives were sent to a
    third country. In accordance with official info in 2011 Armenian
    side sent one Azerbaijani captive to his Homeland, one was sent to
    a third country.
