POLITICIAN: SAFAROV'S EXTRADITION HAPPENED THANKS TO MEDIATION OF THE THIRD COUNTRIES

The process of extradition of the killer of the Armenian officer Ramil
Safarov from Hungary to Azerbaijan happened thanks to mediation of
the third countries, a member of the Heritage party, Stepan Safaryan,
    said at today's press-conference.

"Undoubtedly, the extradition was implemented thanks to the efforts
of Turkey, the secret agent of which is Safarov. Except Turkey, other
countries were also functioning in this context, the purpose of which
was worsening of situation in the South Caucasus", - Safaryan said. He
thinks that superpowers were informed about the bargain between
Hungary and Azerbaijan and approved that in a certain sense. He also
added that Armenia must not trust in Hungary that allegedly Safarov
was extradited with a guarantee from Azerbaijan about his further
imprisonment there, as for eight years Baku was trying to buy Safarov,
and Budapest did not sell him and was always bargaining.

The politician said that official Yerevan should raise the problem
of Safarov's immediate arrest in all international structures: CSTO,
UN, OSCE, CIS. In this context, Safaryan said that Armenia should
use the fact of Safarov's pardoning in the negotiating process on
Karabakh conflict settlement and demand strict actions from the OSCE
MG co-chairs. He also added that Azerbaijan has already started using
the fact of Safarov's discharging. "Azerbaijan is infected with a mass
psychosis, and at present Safarov has become a trump card in Aliyev's
hands for holding of anti-Armenian propaganda, which may seriously
affect the course of possible battle actions", - Safaryan said.
