Azerbaijan is involved in terror attacks on Iranian scholars, says
an article by Iranian news website Shafaf.ir.
An Azerbaijani court has sentenced four persons who engaged in
religious activities to 14 years in prison on charges of cooperating
with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), says the article.
The indictment said that the four intended to carry out terrorist
attacks in the days of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku after
having military training in Iran.
Commenting on this case, the Iranian website says, "Iran has repeatedly
accused the Azerbaijani Republic of hosting anti-Iranian terrorist
groups. Azerbaijan cooperated with those who carried out terror
attacks on Iranian scholars."
