Georgia should have a neutral stance on Karabakh - Society of Irakli II

ArmInfo - Black Sea Press. Chairman of the Society of Irakli II,
Archil Chkoidze, has commented on Georgian Foreign Minister Maia
Panjikidze's statement published in the Azerbaijani press. To remind,
Panjikidze's statement published by the Azeri mass media said that the
Karabakh conflict might be settled only in favor of the territorial
    integrity of Azerbaijan.

"Georgia's stance on this issue should be neutral, there are both
Azeris and Armenians in our country, and our close neighbors are both
Azerbaijan and Armenia", Chkoidze said. He added that the statements
in favor of any of the countries may damage the state interests of
    Georgia.

In the meantime, he thinks it is unacceptable to speak of the Georgian
foreign minister's resignation, on which the representatives of the
United National Movement (led by Mikheil Saakashvili) insist. After
the 1 Oct 2012 parliamentary elections in Georgia, Panjikidze joined
the opposition. "These are common tricks to blame the political
    opponents", Chkoidze said.
