PRESIDENT OF MAJILIS INVITED HOVIK ABRAHAMYAN TO KAZAKHSTAN

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 8, ARMENPRESS: Meeting of Armenian Ambassador Vasili
Ghazaryan and President of lower house of the bicameral Parliament
of Kazakhstan, Majilis, Nurlan Nigmatulin took place on February 7,
in Astana.
As Armenpress was informed from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, interstate relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan,
development of interparliamentary ties as well as economic cooperation
had been discussed during the meeting. Interlocutors have also referred
to the role of Armenian community in the internal life of Kazakhstan,
as well as to issues concerning implementation of joint programs in
educational and scientific spheres.
President of Majilis asked Armenian Ambassador to covey his invitation
to Hovik Abrahamyan, President of Armenian National Assembly, on
paying an official visit to Kazakhstan.
